Sep North Carolina’s Merge Records gained recognition in not only taking the leap to release their own albums, but also in picking bands with huge live buzz. Arcade Fire’s performances blew away early fans who got to see them in small venues and continue to amaze at their often times sold out arena shows.
Today’s video-round up compiles many of the artists featured in our new Merge Records Premium Channel, including Wye Oak with an acoustic performance in a back alley and Spoon live at the XX Merge Festival in 2009, which celebrated the label’s 20th year with over 30 bands across five days.
