Top 10 U.S. Movie Purchases on the Video Unlimited service: Week ending 10/12

After two weeks as the leader in the top 10, The Avengers has been dethroned by Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer’s dark vampire comedy, Dark Shadows.

We also lost a couple films that were in the top 10 for quite some time but gained a great horror flick with Chernobyl Diaries (plus Bonus Features), which is available now on the Video Unlimited service before it’s available on DVD and Blu-ray.  Also new to the list is the animated comedy Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – available in 3D for those who want to get up close and personal with the movie’s goofy animals - featuring a star-studded cast including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Sacha Baron Cohen.

A number of other films remain in the top 10 to round out a diverse list of great movies to take you through the weekend.
