Justin Bieber – Believe Acoustic
JBiebs has been riding a runaway train of success before he even hit 18, hitting platinum success across multiple countries and a staggering following of Beliebers who have helped him dominate most major music conversations. Amidst the whirlwind of the 2011 release of Believe, he managed to slow it down a bit and record acoustic versions of some of the album’s biggest tracks, without all the pomp and circumstance, including “Boyfriend,” “Beauty and the Beat,” and a live recording of “Fall.” While that is more than enough to keep fans happy, he’s also included three new songs, “Yellow Raincoat,” “I Would,” and the bonus track, “Nothing Like Us”

Just in time for their reunion performance at the big game on Sunday, Destiny’s Child has come together and compiled a list of their most romantic tunes with Love Songs. While they have each explored separate avenues of success, this is a solid reminder of what put them on the music map in the first place. The tracks span across multiple albums and are some of the deep cuts that you may have missed under the weight of their massive dance songs. However, don’t miss “Nuclear,” a brand new, down-beat closer written by the girls in light of the reunion and hopefully a mirror of what is to come from the dynamic threesome.

Four years ago, Los Angeles-based Local Natives shook up the indie rock music scene, riding a then-developing “chillwave” genre that has since become a stylistic trend, relying heavily on multi-layered harmonies, muted guitars and swirling percussion. On their sophomore album Hummingbird, the band takes that concept and stretches it out, with less bombastic moments like gang vocals and more intricate musicianship. The earlier part of the album is heavy with the band’s poppier melodies while the rest carries you through a nice winter dream sequence.

Recommended Track: “Heavy Feet”

I have a Droid 4 and, ever since the update, I have been getting the connection error message. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but I still get the same message. I really wish they would fix this. It’s really become a problem…
