It’s a big week of new releases on the PlayStation Store, some of which include some serious zombie action.

Pick up some awesome new titles for PlayStation 3 including: Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII, Dead Island Riptide, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Soul Calibur V, and Star Trek.

One of the more anticipated releases of the week is the action role-playing survival horror game Dead Island Riptide, the sequel to the original Dead Island. This installment takes place after the characters escape the island of Banoi and discover the zombie infection has spread even further than they thought.

Also available this week for cross-buy on PSN and PS Vita is the critically acclaimed indie puzzle platformer Thomas Was Alone. You control one or more polygon shapes that represent several rogue artificial intelligence entities and work with the shapes to get each to their individual end points on each level.

Other PS Vita releases this week include Draw Slasher and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R.

The Spring Fever Sale is still kicking, even after being overrun with zombies. Nothing says spring fever like an infectious zombie apocalypse brought to you by the good people of the Umbrella Corporation right?

Yep, it’s all about Resident Evil. Pick up some of your favorite titles from the franchise including: Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City and much more.

New this week: Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel demo, a Ubisoft Sale and more.

Now available on the PlayStation Network is Darkstalkers Resurrections. The game is a compilation of the fighting games Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. The new title features classic gameplay and unique characters, as well as a host of new features, including a variety of HD visual modes, online play with 8-player lobbies, YouTube replay sharing, improved challenge modes, dynamic awards, and unlock-able extras. So for you fans of the original titles, or fans of fighting games in general, this is definitely one title to add to your collection.

Also, new this week on PSN and PS3: Quantum Theory, Psych Yourself, and Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear.

Check out some of the new Free PS3 demos that also hit the PS Store this week including Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel, Fuel Overdose and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge.

It’s a jam packed week of new releases on the PlayStation Store.

Topping the list is the highly anticipated Tomb Raider for PlayStation 3. And it’s not just the game out this week, it’s a full Tomb Raider Digital Edition bundle that includes: the full Tomb Raider game, a 3-pack bundle of the weapons Agent 47 uses in Hitman: Absolution, Shanty Town multiplayer map (which is a ramshackle area that features steep climbs, multiple zip lines for quick escapes, and deadly traps to set for your enemies), Tomb Raider Outfit Pack (a 3-pack bundle of outfits for Lara — the Hunter, Aviatrix and Guerilla outfits), and Quantum Conundrum full game.

The next installment of the Metal Gear series, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, also hits the PS Store this week. MGR: Revengeance picks up four years after the events of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Players will take on the role of Raiden, a cyborg ninja, who is in a fight against a private military company known as Desperado Enterprises.

Also out this week on PS3 is MLB The Show 13 (also on PlayStation Vita), Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk and Port Royal 3 Pirates & Merchants.

New on the PlayStation Network and PS Vita is Creat Studios’ newest puzzle game, Germinator, in which you must contain a plague outbreak in a suburban area by destroying ever-growing, similarly-colored germs. As the same-colored germs combine they grow and grow and grow until they pop into a gooey mess! Definitely not your ordinary bubble game.

This week on the PlayStation store it’s a pre-order frenzy!

The highly anticipated third installment in the BioShock series, BioShock Infinite, is now available for pre-order on the PlayStation 3. Play as a disgraced former agent of the Pinkerton National Detective Agency who is hired by mysterious individuals and tasked to infiltrate the air-city of Columbia and rescue a young woman.

New to PSN and PlayStation Vita this week is MUD FIM Motocross World Championship. It’s the only game that features the MX1 and MX2 Championships and includes all of the championship teams and world-renown motocross riders from the 2011 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

You definitely don’t want to miss out on the great sales this week, including a PS Vita Anniversary sale as well as the Gamer’s Choice Award winners.

It’s finally here!

Well of course the PlayStation 4 was announced yesterday, but we’re talking about the highly anticipated Crysis 3 for PlayStation 3 now available on the PlayStation Store. This new addition to the Crysis series features an extensive campaign and exciting multiplayer action.

Urban Trial Freestyle for PlayStation Network and PS Vita also landed on the PS Store this week. Hit the streets on your freestyle trials bike while dodging the police and using the urban landscape to pull spectacular tricks – backflips, 360s, wallrides, ollies and more.

Other new titles this week include Patapon 3 and Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection for PS Vita and CAPCOM Arcade Cabinet- now free on PSN.

And for all you zombie loving gamers out there OMG Zombies is now available, for free (Feb. 20 – Feb. 26), on PS Vita and PlayStation Mobile. Play as the lone survivor of a zombie killing team that’s out to save the City of Redfield, one exploding zombie at a time. One single bullet will send bits of zombie guts everywhere causing one huge, gory chain reaction.

It’s that time of the year again! Yesterday, we had the pleasure of announcing this year’s lineup of great titles for the third annual PSN Gamers’ Choice Awards. As in previous years, we’re opening up the polls and hoping that you’ll make your voice heard to determine the best downloadable PSN titles. We’ll again have three nominees across 10 categories that will feature the top-rated and most popular games of 2012.

Now through February 25th you can visit the PlayStation Store or the Sony Entertainment Network Online Store to cast your vote in any of the categories by downloading a free XMB theme. Remember, your votes will determine who wins in every category – not to mention that winning titles will then go on sale for a limited time.

Next Tuesday, be sure to check the PlayStation.Blog to see which titles came out on top. Starting later that day when the PS Store updates, the winning game in each category will be discounted in the PS Store for one week, with an even deeper discount for PlayStation Plus members.

It’s an explosive week on the PlayStation Store with the celebration of Twisted Metal’s one year anniversary on the PlayStation 3.

Join Sweet Tooth and the gang as they wreak car carnage with the Twisted Metal Birthday Bundle now on the PlayStation Store. The bundle includes the original Twisted Metal for PSone (1995), Twisted Metal 2 (1996), Twisted Metal: Black (2001) for the PlayStation 2, and the more recently released Twisted Metal (2012) for the PS3.

New to the PlayStation Network this week is the next chapter of the hit RPG Persona 4. The critically acclaimed Persona 4 Arena takes place two months after its predecessor. The game includes characters from both Persona 4 and Persona 3 as they are pitted against each other in this colorful anime-style fighting game.

Now available on the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Vita is the classic survival horror game Alien Breed. The game has been remastered to fit the new systems including a full HD graphics overhaul. So turn out the lights and settle in for some good ole’ fashioned fright-filled alien hunting.

Also new this week is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Decade Duels Plus on PSN, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken on PS Vita and Ecolibirum, now free, also on PS Vita.

It’s another jam-packed week for new games on the PlayStation Store.

This week, the highly reviewed Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time is now available for cross-buy on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Picking up where Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves left off, this next installment of the series has the team traveling through time to collect the missing Thievius Raccoonus. Play as Sly Cooper and navigate through various obstacles on your search to find the book and protect the Cooper legacy.

Also new to PS3 is the latest chapter of the survival horror series, Dead Space 3. Players will take on the role of Isaac Clarke, held captive by EarthGov on Titan Station due to his knowledge of Marker blueprints. Once an outbreak of Necromorphs takes over the station you help Isaac escape and continue on the quest to find a cure.

Other releases this week on PlayStation Network include: Fist of the North Star 2: Ken’s Rage, Mensa Academy, and Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed.

This week on the PlayStation Store there’s an abundance of new games to enjoy as you prepare yourself for this year’s Super Bowl Weekend.

Newly available this week for preorder and beta on the PlayStation 3 is the latest installment of the Crysis series, Crysis 3. Take on the role of Prophet, who returns to New York to uncover the truth behind C.E.L.L.’s newly built quarantined Nanodomes. Using the power in his Nanosuit and his Predator Bow, you guide Prophet on his mission while fighting both human and alien opposition alike.

New this week on the PlayStation Network is the action thriller Bayonetta for the PS3. Armed with enchanted guns known as Scarborough Fair, you will battle both monsters and angelic enemies on your quest to unravel the story of who she really is.

Also on PSN this week is the Hitman HD Trilogy (each game is also sold separately), Air Conflicts: Secret Wars, Everyone Sing and Zone of the Enders HD.

And we can’t forget about the release of the PlayStation 2 Classic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, now available for download on PSN.

This week you’ll find a plethora of new games in the Playstation Store, including the highly anticipated Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on Playstation 3.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the newest RPG to hit the PS3. The game’s story follows a thirteen-year-old boy named Oliver who, after tragically losing his mother, is given a book that allows him to use the power of magic to enter into a reality parallel to his own.

Other anticipated releases on the PS3 this week include Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Racquet Sports, and Just Dance 4.

New on the Playstation Network is The Cave, a platform-adventure game developed by Double Fine Productions and Rob Gilbert. It follows seven characters, of which you will choose three, who are drawn from across time and space to The Cave where each of them is in search of something they desire above everything else.

In PS Vita’s latest release, escapeVektor, you follow Vektor, who has been trapped inside the CPU for what seems like forever, and you are his only hope of escape.

New free-to-play PS3 Beta exclusive DUST 514 is also now available on the Playstation Store. This massively-multiplayer online shooter takes place in the expansive universe of EVE Online, where your next victory could prove the final devastating blow to a galactic empire of thousands of online gamers.
