This weekend, the coolest of the cool and the hippest of the hip will gather in Chicago, un-ironically, for the sold out Pitchfork Music Festival. Now in its 7th year, the line-up features as many big names as it does buzzy artists: a diverse, three-day festival during a hot Midwest summer. This is the brainchild of the notoriously taste-making blog, one that often sets the bar of “cool,” for the artists they report on.
If you’re not out in Chicago, you’ll be able to stream several of the performances on Pitchfork’s YouTube page throughout the weekend. Check out albums from 10 of these artists below and get to know the songs so you can sing along loudly in your living room.
