It’s a Theatrical Throwdown for the whole family this week as we pit two animated features against each other.

In the first corner is Justice League: Doom. Batman’s contingency plans for taking down other members of the Justice League should they turn evil have fallen into the hands of a group of super-villains. Led by Vandal Savage the villains are now armed with a master tactician’s emergency plans and it’s up to the combined power of the Justice League to take them down.

In the second corner is Puss in Boots. Antonio Banderas returns to voice the feline who’s as much a lover as a fighter in this story set before the events of the Shrek series. Teaming with Kitty Softpaws (voiced by Salma Hayek) and Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) Puss must save the town with two irresistible weapons: His sword and his sad kitty eyes.

Vote in this week’s poll for your favorite: Some feline swashbuckling or some super-hero adventures. Look for the winner to be announced this Thursday and then be available to rent beginning Friday for just $.99 in SD and $1.99 in HD in the U.S. and English-speaking territories of Canada.
